Health Walk - Thursday 13th April 2017

Today we had thirty-three walkers.
Carmel was leading the main walk, James was back marker.
Suzie was leading the short walk without a back marker.
Carmel told us we were going up round the back of ASDA

Seconds later the short option walkers, ten today, setting off to go down Snake Hill.
The main group walked down Cardiac Hill and crossed the Wooden Bridge

The main group walked up between Gravel Hole Wood and Black Banks Wood into Gravel Hole Wood.

As they were about to leave Dog Kennel Wood they came across the short option group

As the main group left Dog Kennel Wood they climbed up into the field and along to Hawks Clough. Leaving Hawks Clough we walked up past the Ponderosa and dropped down into Green Wood following the path up and down back to Hawks Clough.
They walked along the field, back down to the kissing gate and down the slope to cross the Stone Bridge and back up Snake Hill back to the Barn.
The short option walkers crossed the Stone Bridge and climbed up to the Lake. They walked round the Lake and entered Dog Kennel Wood where they met the main group.
They walked on into Gravel Hole Wood and across the Wooden Bridge and up Cardiac Hill. As they entered the Pinetum they turned right up the slope to pass alongside the new building and enter the car park.
Resisting the temptation to enter the Barn they walked up the side through Sue Ryder's Genial and round the back of the buildings to Berkeley Drive and back to the Barn.
