Today we had thirty-one walkers and warm sunshine
John W was leading the main walk, Michael S was back marker. Suzi was leading the short walk option (Elite), ten today.
John outlined his walk and led us off into the Pinetum.
We walked down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge and into Gravel Hole Wood. Leaving Gravel Hole Wood we entered Dog Kennel Wood emerging to go through the Kissing Gate into the Field.

Oxeye Daisies and Orchids on the wild flower garden outside the Barn at the end of our walk
The Elite walkers set off by way of the Cinder Path and walked in the opposite direction to what we were destined to do.
When they passed us they walked along the river, over the Wooden Bridge and up into the Pinetum back to the Barn.
Today's walks (Red Main Group, Green Short Walk Option Group). Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>
