Fifty-three walkers this morning, eight opted for the short walk - a new overall record
Michael was leading the main walk with Lawrence back marking. Brian L was leading the optional short walk group with Suzi back marking.
Michael announced that it was a mystery walk, he was hoping not to lead today but he led the main group

the Lake. Quite still this morning. After everyone had caught up and assured Michael they were OK

he carried on round the Lake, through the Kissing Gate.

along Cam Lane, James has recently discovered on an old map that Cam Lane appears to start at the Stone Bridge, to Hawkes Clough.
He carried on into Green Wood down the dip where it was found that the path was under water but everyone seemed to cope and had soon forgotten about the struggle to wade through.

Emerging
out of Green Wood after the long climb up the many steps back on to Cam Lane to pass the Ponderosa returning to Hawks Clough. He led the group along the Field down to the Kissing Gate and up into Dog Kennel Wood through Gravel Hole Wood and back over the Wooden Bridge to climb Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and back to the Barn.
