It wasn't dry underfoot but Margaret found us a dry-underfoot route, thank you Margaret. John was back Marker. Margaret explained her plans and led us off along the path through the scrub, into the Pinetum, down Cardiac Hill and over the Wooden Bridge. She took up into Gravel Hole Wood, through into Dog Kennel Wood emerging to go through the Kissing Gate into the Field. Walking along Cam Lane we reached Hawks Clough and climbed up to the Ponderosa. Passing the Ponderosa we dropped down into Green Wood coming back out at Hawks Clough and walking down to the Lake, round the Lake, down to the Picnic Area, over the Stone Bridge, up Snake Hill and back to the Barn The Elite walkers set off round the sunny side of the Hall then down Snake Hill up Biker Hill,
