Photos by Michael S - Please click on photos to see a larger one Today we had forty-three walkers who were rewarded with a lovely walk in sunshine, a bit nippy but who cares. James led the main walk with Elizabeth M back marking. Susan S led the Elite group with Pat R back marking. James explained his plans and led us off down Snake Hill. Suzi followed with the Elite walkers. As we neared the Stone Bridge Suzi led her group off to the left up Bikers Hill, into Cock Cabin Wood, round the pond, back down Bikers Hill, crossing the Stone Bridge, walking along the river, crossing the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill and through the Pinetum to the Barn. James led the main group across the Stone Bridge, up the slope, through the Kissing Gate, along the Field to Hawks Clough and down over the footbridge and puddle. Here he embarked on a new adventure leaving the main path and following the path on the left up and down past Hawksclough Farmhouse climbing up the steps into Maypark, walking through the houses and eventually descending more steps rejoining the path we normally walk. We carried on past the back of ASDA and up on to Cam Lane turning left to walk along to Sheep Hill. We crossed the road and soon turned into Glenmore and reached the deep valley this time turning right to walk
We followed the Cycle Track to the Wooden Bridge covering the same ground as the Elite walkers back to the Barn
