We crossed the road and started to walk up Sheep Hill Lane till we got to the Kissing Gate where we reentered the Park and climbed up to the 'Top of the World'. We carried on to the left and came to Glenmore. Twalking along Glenmore with
Just a little further on Mary F slipped on to her knee and it was suggested that she might like to take a short cut back to the Barn. She agreed and Michael accompanied her. James continued right into Green Wood and found his way on the housing estate on the left progressing through and eventually rejoining Cam Lane at Hawks Clough continuing through the Field to the Kissing Gate, down the Slope towards the Stone Bridge. Somewhere along this section Joe Mc slipped on the steps.
The Elite walkers, Michael and Mary had crossed earlier all returning to the Barn via Snake Hill. Mary filled in an accident report. The Elite walkers went round the south side of the Hall to join Snake Hill, crossed the Stone Bridge, walked round the Picnic Area, along the bottom of the Dam, up the Long Steps to walk round the Lake, leaving the Lake to climb up into Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood. Leaving Gravel Hole Wood by walking down to the Cycle Track, along the river back to the Stone Bridge and climbing Snake Hill back to the Barn.
