Photos by Michael S - Please click on photos to see a larger one Today we only had twenty-five walkers James was leading with Carmel back marking. Sue led the short option with Colin C back marker, only two of them today! James took us past the New Building
We went over the Stone Bridge, up the slope, through the Kissing Gate into the Field and walked along Cam Lane to Hawks Clough. We walked further along Cam Lane past the Ponderosa, past the steps into Green Wood and passing the pond, now a little larger, Maggie exclaimed Otters! See map There were at least two otters, possibly three but try as Michael might he couldn't see them and get a photo - he was the only one of the trailing group that didn't see them We crossed Sheep Hill Lane and started down sheep Hill only to turn left back into the Park and eventually along a new path found by James. We came back on to Sheep Hill Lane to cross back into the Park alongside Town Brown Car Park. We followed the Cycle Track all the way to the Wooden Bridge and climbed
Suzi and Colin followed us down Snake Hill but chose to walk up into Dog Kennel Wood, through Gravel Hole Wood, right along the river, over the Stone Bridge and back up Snake Hill to the Barn. Even though it was damp and dismal we all seemed to enjoy the morning ending the walk.
