We carried on walking along Cam Lane towards Hawks Clough, through the next Kissing Gate
After a while Cheryl took us up some long steps into the new houses and brought us out on to the A6. We walked along and crossed the road safely at the crossing into the walk on the other side. Dodging here and there amongst the quiet houses we crossed
We got back into Green Wood and retraced our steps but dropping down to the Lake and walked round it to the Long Steps. descended and walked round the Picnic Area to cross the Stone Bridge again and climb up Snake Hill by now we knew we'd been on a longer walk than usual but everyone was happy and said they'd thoroughly enjoyed the walk. 3.5 mile in 72 minutes. Thanks Cheryl Suzi took the Elite walkers Through the Car Park, past the Old Man into the Pinetum along path past the viewing Area and down Cardiac Hill.
