Health Walk - Tuesday 17th July 2018

Today we only had fifty walkers. No dogs today.
It was a cloudy morning with the threat of rain but it improved as we walked round.
Irene and Sheila decided to lead the main walk as joint leaders. They planned a route and James kept an eye on them. Michael was back marker. Jen K led the short option walk with Suzi back marking.
Irene introduced the walk and

they led off into the Pinetum then down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge turning right and up into Gravel Hole Wood, through Dog Kennel Wood skirting the eastern shore of the Lake. They climbed up the steps to Cam Lane walking to Hawks Clough then clockwise round Green Wood coming back on to Cam Lane to walk pass the Ponderosa (Cam Lane Cottage) back to Hawks Clough continuing along Cam Lane through the Kissing Gate, down the Slope and

Jen somewhat reversed the main groups walk starting down Snake Hill, over the Stone Bridge, round the Picnic area, up the long steps to the Lake
