Michael S led the main walk with Frankie as back marker. Suzi S led the short option walk with Colin C back marker. Michael introduced himself and went on to get confused and mumble but set off down the hill and everyone followed him except the Elite walkers who went off up the hill through the Car Park and round the sunny side, not this morning, of Cuerden Hall Michael turned up to Cuerden Hall and walked round the front, following James' Walk through Wilbraham's Wood coming out on the Drive where
Everyone walked along the Cycle Track and round Cock Cabin Pond, leaving Cock Cabin Wood to enter Walkers Wood, going down Bikers Hill and crossing the Stone Bridge. Here the Elite group walked south along the river whereas the main group walked round the Picnic Area and The main group went through the Kissing Gate and up into Dog Kennel Wood, through Gravel Hole Wood, down to the Cycle Track and over the Wooden Bridge following the Elite group who had walked up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and back to the Visitors Centre where Brian C handed out invitations to his walk from Brinscall Baths to White Coppice and back on Saturday 4th August.
