Today we had thirty walkers. It was a lovely sunny morning.

Colin C led the Elite walk with Suzi back marking.

Carmel took us through the Car Park followed by Colin leading the Elite walkers. Carmel took us into the Pinetum whereas Colin took the elite group round the sunny side of Cuerden Hall

Leaving the Pinetum and walking down Cardiac Hill to cross the Wooden Bridge.
We turned right at the bottom and walked up into Gravel Hole Wood passing through Dog Kennel Wood, through the Kissing Gate into the Field and down to the Lake

Someone spotted the Heron in the tree, tall one on the right but impossible to find on this photo

It was Kerry's, white top, last day on our walks and she had come to say goodbye. Janet will be Edward's companion from now on.

Once again, in Walkers Wood, we meet the Elite group going in the opposite direction. Being a smaller group they are much more intimate. They had come from the Cinder Path round Cock Cabin Wood, the path we were to follow back to the Visitors Centre in the opposite direction

Damselfly on Cock Cabin Pond, we had walked through the wood anti-clockwise
