Health Walk - Tuesday 9th October 2018

Today we had fifty-two walkers, well that's as many as I could count from the photos, we didn't do a register

A lovely dry and sunny morning for our walk.

Michael led the main walk with Elizabeth back marker.   Colin C led the short option (Elite) walk with Suzi S back marker.

Michael pointed down Snake Hill and said we're going that way and pointing to Cardiac Hill said we'll be coming back up there.  There's no stiles, no overhanging boughs but look out for tree roots

Down Snake Hill, across the Stone Bridge, round the Picnic Area, up the Long Steps to the Lake, round the Lake, up the Steps onto Cam Lane, into Green Wood,

coming out of Green Wood on to Cam Lane and even after the stiff climb there were still happy smiling faces, perhaps because they'd made it to the top

photos to register who was actually walking.

Down through the Kissing Gate and up into Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood, Wooden Bridge, Cardiac Hill, Pinetum and back to the Visitors Centre.

The short walkers had not returned!  Again!  they reversed our journey but turned down the Slope and crossed the Stone Bridge, up Bikers Hill, a quick look at Cock Cabin Pond, Cycle Path, Cinder Path, Hall Drive, round the Hall and back to the Visitors Centre.
