We had a lovely morning for the walks, dry, a little cool and the rain only started towards the end of the walk. John W was the leader with Frankie back marker. Suzi led the Elite group with Margaret W back marker. They went up through the Car Park and into the Pinetum diverting to look into the Walled Orchard so that some who hadn't seen it on Tuesday could see the Passion flower. They returned to the main path and walked up to the Viewing Platform before continuing down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge, turning left to walk along the river, Cycle Path before walking up the Slope to walk along the Dam. They came down the Long Steps and walked along the bottom of the Dam where we passed them on out way up to the Lake. From there they crossed the Stone Bridge, walked up Bikers Hill and entered Cock Cabin Wood walking round the path anticlockwise. As they came out of the wood Suzi asked them "Where next". The consensus was the Cycle path and then the Cinder Path They came out of the Cinder Path on to the Drive and walked up the Drive, through the Hall Car Park round the east side back to the Visitors Centre. John started down Snake Hill but turned off to go round the east and north sides of the Hall, down the Hall Drive to the Cinder Path, out on to the Cycle Path, entering Cock Cabin Wood
Back out on to the Cycle Path, down through Walkers Wood, over the Stone Bridge and anti-clockwise round the Picnic Area
We went up into the woods, Dog Kennel, then Gravel Hole coming out on to the Cycle Path, over the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and first right up to the Visitors Centre
