Lawrence was the leader of the main walk with Elizabeth M back marker and James mid marker/reserve leader. Pat R led the Elite group with Colin C back marker. They went down the side of the Visitors Centre in the Pinetum, up to the Viewing Platform, down and up the middle paths to the the Car Park, along the sunny side of the Hall down Snake Hill, round the Picnic Area, up the Long Steps Round the Lake up into Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood, Wooden Bridge, Cardiac Hill, into the Pinetum and up the central path back to the Visitors Centre The main group set off into the Car Park, round the Barn into the Hall Drive, Cinder Path, Cycle Path, into Cock Cabin Wood, Cycle Path, Walkers Wood, Stone Bridge, round the Picnic Area, up the Long Steps to the Lake, round the Lake, through the Kissing Gate, up the Steps on to Cam Lane, Hawks Clough and passed the Ponderosa. Here it got interesting. James led a group over the stile into the Cow Field over the bottom stile and through Gravel Hole Wood and Dog Kennel Wood out on to the Slope. Here they had a short wait, five minutes, until the rest of the main group appeared over the hill and joined them. Lawrence's group had entered Green Wood down the many steps, round the back of ASDA and along the path back to Hawks Clough rejoining Cam Lane to walk down through the Kissing gate to meet James' group. They all crossed the Stone Bridge and walked up Snake Hill back to the Visitors Centre
