Today we had thirty-six walkers for James' walk although sixteen of them preferred a shorter walk
A dry autumn morning.
James led the main group with Sheila back marker.
Maggie led the Elite group with Frankie back marker.

Leaving Cam Lane we dropped down over the Footbridge to follow the path round the back of ASDA back on to Cam Lane where we walked to the top of Sheep Hill, crossed the road

and turned into Glenmore

On the left of Glenmore as we walked along is the deep gorge but this photo hasn't caught the depth.

I've cobbled this photo up from three of Frankie's photos.
They walked round the Picnic Area, over the Stone Bridge, up Bikers Hill into Walkers Wood, into Cock Cabin Wood, out on to the Cycle Path again to the Cinder Path.
Leaving the Cinder Path they walked up the Hall Drive, Round the front and side of the Hall to Snake Hill and back to the Visitors Centre. A rather long walk?
Today's walks (Red Main Group, Green Short Walk Option Group).
Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>. similarly for the blue arrows
