INQUEST AT WHITTLE-LE-WOODS ON THE DEATH OF WILLIAM WITHNELL On Wednesday, at the Duke of York Inn, Whittle-le-Woods, Mr. Gilbertson held an inquest on the body of William Withnell 14, Labourer who died on Monday from injuries received on the 31st ult. The deceased was engaged at Mr. Cunliffes Kem Mill bleachworks and on the 31st ult.,he was putting cloth into a large vessel containing boiling liquid, when through some cause or other he fell into it. He was promptly taken therefrom, and having been removed home, Dr. Jackson was called in but his efforts proved unavailing, death taking place shortly after 9 o'clock on a Monday.
