Please click on the photos to see a larger one. Saturday 19th October - The Third day of the Frostbite Series - We arrived full of trepidation but the wind was fine, S F2-3. It was overcast but quite warm.
Later we did get the occasional flash of sunshine, it turned into a pleasant afternoon. Sunday 6th October - The Nateby Trophy and the second day of the Frostbite Series Saturday 5th October - The first day of the Frostbite Series Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September- Summer Series 13 and 14 Sunday 8th September - Summer Series 12 - sorry no pictures The Regatta - Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th & Monday 26th August Sunday 11th August - Some of us turned up to race but decided it was much too windy, all except one, Robin Whitam. He got his OK ready and sailed up and down in challenging conditions
Saturday 10th August - The Lancaster Guardian Trophy and Summeer Series Day 9 Sunday 21st July - Summer Series 5 and The Arthur Ingram Trophy Sunday 7th July - Sumer Series 2 - report to follow - Series Table - Results Sunday 9th June - D K Wright Trophies and Spring Series Day 10. Hardly any wind and no sea breeze again but again there was shore to shore sunshine . . . . Sunday 26th May - Hardly any wind and no sea breeze because it was overcast - where was the sun? It looked hazy/misty out to sea? Agian five dinghies turned out to race. . . . . . Saturday 25th May - What a day! Classic Glasson day, fine with a delicious sea breeze. Five boats . . . Saturday 18th May - Seven boats racing for the second day of the Evening Series Saturday 27th April - Four boats turned out for the third day in the Spring Series . . . . . Saturday 20th April - The Course was Start Ss - Gs - 18s - Ss , 2 laps. Three boats started the race but one retired. Results Saturday 13th April - the first day of the Spring Series. Rather windy so we only managed one race Sunday 31st March - Carlsberg Trophy - Won by Martin & Sammy Sunday 17th March - The final day in the 2013 West Coast Icicle Series Saturday 16th March - Turned out to be a good afternoon wit hample wind from the southwest Sunday 3rd March - Would we get more wind today? Yes. We even had some sunshine while we got our boats ready, it was another nice afternoon. Seven boats turned up to race - the biggest turnout of the year! Ivan set the course Open Line As - Gp - Bp - 18s - Ss. . . . . . Saturday 2nd March - March already! No wind, none of the promised sunshine but it was a nice afternoon. Four boats turned up to race . . . Sunday 24th February - It was an early start, which made it difficult for some of our racers to get to the Club, no doubt the cold also deterred a few but those that turned up were rewarded with good sailing conditions. . . . . . Saturday 16th February - Jack led from the start but had problems rounding Mark G. Big John was next, that's him, the blue speck in the distance. He overtook Jack whilst . . . Saturday 2nd February - A lovely day with plenty of sunshine. The wind was WNW, force 2-3 gusting 3-4. Temperature round about 5 degrees C. . . . |
