Summer 2 - It was a lovely afternoon but sadly there was no racing.  Five boats took to the water: . . .

The D K Wright Trophies & Spring 3 - Sunday 20th May - It was a pleasant day but sadly there was hardly any wind.  North easterlies were forecast but we had mostly west.  Six boats turned up and took to the water. . . . .

The 2nd Lighthouse Series Races - Another dull day but his time rather wet to add to the disappointment.  Barbara came to sail with Ian but elected to stay in the clubhouse.  Only Ian and Robin had turned up to race . . . . . .

The Carlsberg Trophy, which should have been held on Sunday 8th April was postponed due to too much wind.  Only Martin and Sammy braved the elements for half an hour or so. The races will now be held on Sunday 6th May.

The 1st Lighthouse Race - Easter Saturday 7th April - The start was delayed by about 15 minutes in the hope of some wind.  It then looked promising so we started the race! . . . . . . .

The Millenium Bridge Race - Good Friday 6th April - We were privileged to have three visiting boats from Morecambe & Heysham Yacht Club, which made twelve boats in total - a good turnout for such a windy day . . . . ..

The 7th North West Coast Icicle Sunday - Sunday 25th March - Seven boats turned up for the racing but as one had left its rudder at home its crew volunteered to be the OOD.  It was a glorious sunny day, is it our summer turning up early again? . . . . .

The 6th North West Coast Icicle Sunday - Sunday 11th March - The wind was F2 WNW.  The sky was overcast, we could see blue patches but none of them favoured us.  It was fairly warm but the wind was nippy . . . . .

The 5th North West Coast Icicle Sunday - Nine of us turned up for the racing, including Owen who was the OOD . . . .

The 4th North West Coast Icicle Sunday - 12 February, was abandoned because of lack of wind.  Three boats were ready to race: John Enterprise, John Bosun and Michael Topper

The 3rd North West Coast Icicle Sunday - Sunday 29th January - no wind on Saturday but there was some for us today - SE F2-3. Two races . . . .

The 2nd North West Coast Icicle Sunday - Horrendous winds and we cancelled the racing.

The 1st North West Coast Icicle Sunday - Sunday 8th January.  Gales or near gales had been raging for a long time.   But, even though it was dull the wind had dropped to allow the Glasson sailors the chance to take part in the first North West Icicle Sunday.
